Water Day #1
So its Friday, and we have officially named that water day!
Swimsuits, towels, water shoes, and sunscreen - check!
Water sprinklers - check!
Eager kiddos - check check!
Let's play!!!
We had a lot of fun playing out in the water sprinklers. Unfortunately, Sevyn and Audry slept through the entire thing. I tried to wake them, but no luck! Oh well, we will do it again next Friday.
The kids ran through the sprinklers, filled their cups with water, and had list water fights as they pointed the sprinklers at each other. We also made a "water slide." Because the sun wasn't out, we weren't able to stay out for the entire afternoon. . . only about 45 minutes. The kids were shivering so we had to come in and get out of the wet clothes. The wind was blowing pretty good to so that didn't help matters.

Feeding the Ducks!
We had a chance to go feed the ducks at the park.
Sevyn was really excited initially about the ducks.
Jack and Zolee enjoyed throwing bread into the water although their tosses only went about 1 foot each.
Sevyn decided to find a muddy area and sit down. The ducks apparently were too exciting for her and she just needed to sit and watch.
However her idea of "usable" wasn't exactly what I thought was appropriate. She figured it was still edible. I had to switch it out for something straight out of the bag.
After feeding the ducks we went over to the park, that was really close. The kids played on the playground.
What a fun time playing today on a BEAUTIFUL day!

Play Play Play . . . ON SPRING BREAK!!!
So these pics are all in reverse order, but oh well. Too much thinking to get it in order.
Stylin in her glasses!
Snack time, oranges.
Wagon ride with all three girls and Krista pulling the cart. It was a lot of fun!
Jayden trying to escape in the background, while Josephine tries to distract me with her dashing good looks!
Okay so its not a tropical flower, and yes its a weed . . . but does the job regardless!
Lunchtime: Taco meat, cheese, rice and dessert. . . . bluberries! Josephine eating lunch like a big girl!
Jayden accessorized her outfit appropriately. The lei was a good choice. A nice splash of color while not overwhelming her beautiful brown eyes!
Jayden and Sevyn sitting at the big kids table eating lunch. No, Sevyn typically doesn't eat naked but it just seemed to work out better that way.
Library day!!! Jack sat down to enjoy a good read. This particular Clifford book has a really exciting twist at the end!
Sevyn heads over to the Hippo to find her a good read. Although spent most of her time unloading the books onto the floor.
There is a fun salt water fish tank at the Euless library. Jack enjoyed spotting the fish. He kissed the glass a few times too!
Jack was a little unsure of the swings at first. I don't think he enjoyed it quite as much, but he LOVED the park and we spent lots of time on the slides that he really enjoyed.
Taking a walk over the bridge at the park. Jack loved to look out over the lake (or drainage ditch . . . however you want to see it!)
The slide was probably Jack's favorite part. We had a good time sliding. Good thing Krista was there to climb to the top, that way I could stand at the bottom to catch the kids. Great teamwork!
